Employment is a journey in life.

Our Supported Employment programs provide tailored support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to engage in desired work activities.

At our organisation, we recognise the importance of employment in shaping an individual’s quality of life. As such, we believe that everyone should have access to opportunities for meaningful employment.

Our Mentors work closely with each individual to create a unique Employment Journey, providing targeted support that is tailored to their specific needs and goals.

  • Fair and objective wage evaluations based on current industry standards.
  • Opportunities for on-the-job training and cognitive skill-building.
  • Assistance with transitioning from Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE) to mainstream employment.

OUR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

Hurdle Gardening & Lawn Care services offers employment opportunities with support for individuals who are funded by the NDIS and wish to work in the gardening and landscaping industry.

Our Social Enterprise provides the following benefits:

  • A genuine employment opportunity where supported employees receive a Letter of Offer and Position Description.
  • External wage assessments are conducted annually for supported employees.
  • Remuneration aligns with the Gardening & Landscaping Services Award.
  • The opportunity to receive a Cert II in Horticulture.
  • On-the-job training is available.
