The Hurdle SLES program helps young people with a disability, to transition from school into work, further training or education.

The Hurdle SLES program is a goal-based and personalised approach to transitioning students from school into work, further training or education.

Each program is adapted to suit the support needs and requirements of an individual in a range of industries. The two year program offers meaningful work experience in their choice of industry, a customised support plan featuring relevant person-centred activities and skills development training.

Program Information

Our two-year SLES program involves:

Skill building; personal attributes (such as confidence and independence).
Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
Skill building; travel and money
Career / work / learning goal development organisational skills, and initiative skills.
Online interactive employability skills courses
Work experience
Health and wellbeing programs.
